Terry Bowden may have finally escaped the state of Alabama, but now they want him back and bad. It's not because of his coaching prowess, but rather to answer to two warrants that have recently been issued for his arrest.
It seems back in July Bowden was pulled over and cited for going 60 mph in a 30 mph zone and having an improper tag. He never showed up for his September 1 court appearance, and was subsequently fined $537 for his tickets.
Bowden hasn't paid those either, and now arrest warrants have been issued. Bowden is currently in Ohio having taken the head football coaching position at the University of Akron. Bowden had spent the past three seasons as coach of Division II University of Northern Alabama.
I'm not even gonna make a joke about how he was speeding to get out of Alabama. You can come up with those on your own.
