Yesterday, the New York Times published a scathing report on the financial status of the NBA. In it, it uses Forbes Data to show that the NBA isn't in as much financial trouble as they say they are.
Today, the NBA fired back with a response that rips apart the arguments made by the New York Times. You can read that here.
Whose accounting do you believe? Unless the NBA opens its books (and it won't), it's a bit ridiculous, and exactly the kind of financial bickering that occurred at the beginning of the NFL lockout.
