ESPN Sues Ohio State Over Football Scandal

ESPN has filed a public records lawsuit against THE Ohio State University, claiming that the university denied public records requests for information regarding the situation surrounding the firing of Coach Jim Tressel and the allegations against Terrell Pryor.

Filed in Ohio Supreme Court today, the lawsuit asks the court to force OSU to release all records pertaining to the scandal.  This would also include all communications regarding Ted Sarniak, Pryor's supposed mentor who was notified by Tressel about the scandal months before it went public.

An interesting move by ESPN, which clearly feels that there is more to this story.
