Julio Gomez took a deflected corner kick and plastered a bicycle kick into the far corner of the goal in the 90th minute of a match against Germany in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup yesterday.
It was an amazing goal for an U-17 team, and propels Mexico in the Final of the World Cup against Uruguay. Even more amazing was that Gomez had his head wrapped in a thick bandage at the time of the kick after receiving a blow to the head earlier in the game that required seven stitches.
